An Evening with Whiskey Foxtrot
March 21, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm$12
Whiskey Foxtrot is an Americana band from Winston-Salem, NC founded by Seth Williams and Sam Foster in 2017. Both Seth and Sam had been performing as solo artists for several years around North Carolina, and on various occasions would perform shows together. After they decided to team up to form Whiskey Foxtrot in 2017, they quickly became a regional favorite. They play hundreds of shows per year across North Carolina and Virginia while continuing to grow a following in the Southeastern US, including Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.
Whiskey Foxtrot is comprised of Seth Williams (Vocals/Guitar,) Sam Foster (Vocals/Guitar,) Brad Cardille (Bass/Vocals,) Terry VunCannon (Lap Steel,) and Steven Worley (Drums.)
The group is primarily influenced by Blackberry Smoke, American Aquarium, Waylon Jennings, The Allman Brothers Band, Tom Petty, and The Eagles just to name a few. Their music is a combination of country, blues, and rock ‘n roll, which is reflective of these influences.
Under the Whiskey Foxtrot moniker, as well under the solo acts of Sam Foster/Seth Williams prior to officially founding the band, they have opened for several national/regional touring acts including: Ward Davis, American Aquarium, Corey Hunt Band, Jonathan Byrd & the Pickup Cowboy, and Corin Raymond. They have also been booked at multiple festivals including: Hippie Fest (Lake City, SC/Salisbury, NC/Myrtle Beach, SC), The Lansing Blues Festival (Lansing, NC), The Harvest Festival (Madison, NC), Dan River Boat Race/Food Truck Festival (Madison, NC), and What The Hay Festival (Mayodan, NC). As a solo artist Seth Williams also participated in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN in 2016 and 2017, as well as the 30th and 31st Carolina Blues Festivals in 2016/2017.
